Bonnie Raittpreparou seu 21º(!) álbum, Bem desse jeito… Antes do dia de lançamento do projeto em 22 de abril, o cantor e compositor compartilhou o primeiro single Made Up Mind e anunciou uma enorme turnê de oito meses.
Raitt gravou Bem desse jeito… no verão passado com colaboradores antigos e novos. O baixista de longa data James Hutch Hutchinson e o baterista Ricky Fataar retornam aos seus cargos, enquanto as novas adições Glenn Patscha e Kenny Greenberg emprestam teclados, backing vocals e guitarra. George Marinelli, guitarrista de longa data e parceiro de composição de Raitt, também retorna para a faixa Livin' for the Ones. Raitt produziu o álbum em colaboração com o engenheiro Ryan Freeland.
Neste disco, eu queria alongar, disse Raitt sobre Bem desse jeito… Eu sempre quero encontrar músicas que me empolguem, e o que é diferente desta vez é que tentei alguns estilos e tópicos que não toquei antes.
